Join us in this half day Youth in Aviation course, where we’ll take to the skies and learn how pilots use navigation tools to chart their course, explore the impact of weather, and understand how technology such as GPS revolutionizes modern aviation.
This half day course will cover:
- Navigating the skies: Maps, charts, and compasses
- Learn how to read aviation charts
- Pilotage basics: Using visual landmarks
- What is GPS, and how does it work?
- Weather and its impact on aviation
All aviators are welcomed and will be grouped according to their experience. So whether your are flying now or seeking to learn more about aviation, we look forward to your participation.
